- Increase your plan
You can move to a higher plan (subject to availability) to increase your allowance at any time during your contract. Just to be clear, this isn’t the same thing as an upgrade, since you won’t be changing your contract’s end date or getting a new phone.

- Decrease your plan
If you’re on a 30-day SIM only plan, you can decrease your plan at any time. Chat with one of our Help Team members online to talk through your options, or call 5888 from your Talkmobile phone.
If you’re on any other type of contract, you’ll need to wait until you’re due for an upgrade to decrease your plan. Then you can choose a new plan, or change to a SIM only plan.
- Change to SIM only
You can move to a SIM only plan at the end of your contract, when you’re eligible to upgrade. To see if you’re eligible for an upgrade, simply log in to My Account.
If you’re already on a 30-day SIM only plan, you can move to a different SIM only plan at any time.
