Work out when your upgrade's due


Early Upgrade

You can upgrade from up to 90 days before your contract end date. We call this an ‘early upgrade’

If you upgrade early, we will add the remaining days from your old contract onto your new contract.

  • Your contract end date is 1st July 2015
  • That means your early upgrade date is 2nd April (90 days earlier) and you can choose to upgrade any time after this date.
  • You decide to upgrade early on 12th May to a 24 month phone contract
  • There are 49 days left between the 12th of May and the 1st of July, so these will be added to your new contract
  • Your new contract length = 24 months + 49 days or 25 months and 19 days
  • Your new contract end date is 30th June 2017

What happens if I reach my contract end date and haven't upgraded?

If your contract reaches its end date and you haven't yet upgraded, we'll just keep your service going until you decide what you want to do.

You can upgrade any time after you've passed your contract end date.

Once you upgrade, your new contract end date will be 24 months after it starts if you opt for a phone contract, or 12 months after it starts if you go for a 12 month SIM Only plan. If you choose a 30 day SIM Only plan then your contract will work on a 30 rolling days basis.

  • Your contract end date is 1st July 2015
  • You don't do anything about your upgrade for a while, but that's fine, your service just keeps running as normal
  • On 10th August 2015 you decide to take a new 24 month phone contract with Talkmobile
  • That means your new contract end date is 9th August 2017
