Roaming in Europe
With Talkmobile you can still keep in touch while you’re on holiday in Europe using your UK monthly allowance. However, please note that you will be subject to a Roaming Fair Use policy. Please see talkmobile.co.uk/acceptable-use-policy for details of the limits that apply to your plan. If you exceed your Roaming Fair Use Limit threshold you will need to buy a Euro holiday booster to call, text and use data.
You can use your UK minutes, texts and data allowance in our European roaming zones 0, 1 and 2 at no extra cost. So if you're browsing the web in Belgium, sending an SMS to a UK mobile from Sweden or calling a UK landline or mobile from Croatia, you can use your monthly allowance. We call this ‘Inclusive Roaming’.
Inclusive roaming on Talkmobile is intended to cover temporary travel such as holidays and short breaks. If you intend to be overseas for more than two months at a time, this may not be the right deal for you. Inclusive data roaming in Europe is subject to our Roaming Fair Use policy and terms and conditions in relation to Permanent Roaming is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.
Please note that making calls from our European roaming destinations to non-standard, non-geographic premium numbers are chargeable as is other usage outside of your UK plan.
Running out of inclusive EU roaming?
If you are running out of your EU Inclusive Roaming allowance in zones 0, 1 and 2 you’ll need to purchase a Euro Holiday Booster.
Euro Holiday Boosters start as soon as you buy them. When your inclusive roaming allowance runs out, we’ll send you a text with a link to the free-access page where you can buy one.
You can also buy your Euro Holiday Booster by:
- Logging on at talkmobile.co.uk/myaccount
- Calling us on 5888 from your Talkmobile phone (or +44 333 304 8064 from abroad)
- Using our app (search My Talkmobile in the Google Play Store or Apple App store).
We’ll send you a text when your Euro Holiday Booster expires with a link to the page where you can buy another one.
Making calls from our European roaming destinations to non-standard, non-geographic, premium numbers are chargeable even if you purchased a Euro Holiday Booster. To see a full list of charges and policies when roaming, both in Europe and around the globe, go to Roaming Charges
